I try to be frugal (cheap), when it comes to expenditures, but in my never ending quest for knowledge, magazines become appealing. Thank goodness for libraries, where this need is often quenched. I can freely read such things as
Smithsonian,
Astronomy,
Sports Illustrated,
Civil War Times,
Scientific American, and others.
There is one magazine that I do purchase regularly.
BBC Knowledge is filled with interesting information, and links to intriguing web sites. It has large sections on its three main focal points: science, nature, and history. I find it worth my time and money. You may want to check it out.
